According to Page Six, Billy Crystal plans on bringing back some of his favorite SNL characters for his new FOX show called The Comedians. Josh Gad will be co-starring with Crystal and the show is set to premiere in 2015.

Gad stated, "I grew up watching 'SNL' religiously, so seeing [Crystal] re-create some of his characters on this show and doing some of that stuff is a dream come true."

Crystal appeared on Saturday Night Live from 1984 to 1985. He has also starred in The Princess Bride, When Harry Met Sally, Analyze This, Monster's Inc, Analyze That, Monster's University, and more. His Broadway credits include 700 Sundays, which he also wrote.

In The Comedians, Crystal plays veteran comedian who is forced to work with Gad's character, a much raunchier comic. Much of the humor stems from their clashing egos and the large age gap between them. The Comedians gives an inside look at late night comedy shows.
