Animated Feature Based on Iconic PEZ Candy in the Works

Deadline reports that Envision Media Arts (EMA) has teamed with PEZ Candy, Inc. to develop an animated feature based on the iconic candy. Cameron Fay will pen the script with Lee Nelson and David Buelow producing for EMA. Gregg Rossen, Brian Sawyer and Jonathan Hung will Executive Produce along with EMA's David Tish.
PEZ dispensers first hit stores 88 years ago and are now available worldwide in over 80 countries. According to PEZ, over 3 billion of the sugar-based candies are consumed annually in the U.S. The dispensers remain a popular collectable item for both children and adults.
