"GMA" beat NBC's "Today" (4.740 million and 1.859 million, respectively) by 557,000 Total Viewers and by 34,000 Adults 25-54.
"GMA" posted across-the-board, week to week increases (5.153 million, 1.861 million and 1.319 million on w/o 4/615): Total Viewers (+3%), Adults 25-54 (+2%) and Adults 18-49 (+6%). "GMA" widened its Total Viewer lead over "Today" week to week by +35% (557,000 vs. 413,000). Season to date, "GMA" is the No. 1 morning newscast in Total Viewers and Adults 25-54. "GMA" is leading "Today" by 610,000 Total Viewers and by 145,000 Adults 25-54. In fact, "GMA" has increased its season margin over "Today" versus the same point last season in Adults 25-54 (+49% - 145,000 vs. 97,000). Furthermore, ranking No. 1 for the 3rd-straight season in Total Viewers and Adults 25-54, "GMA" is seeing its widest Total Viewer margin over "Today" in more than 23 years and biggest in Adults 25-54 in 23 years -since at least the 1991-92 season and the 1991-92 season, respectively (Nielsen's electronic database started on September of 1991).
