ABC finished as the #1 network by wide margins during season premiere week (w/o 9/23/13) among Upscale Adults 18-49 (AD18-49 in $100K+ annual income homes = 2.8 rating) in the non-sports averages, leading by double-digit percentages over NBC (+17% - 2.4 rating), CBS (+22% - 2.3 rating) and FOX (+47% - 1.9 rating). In addition, ABC also delivered the top ranks in other key Upscale categories, including $150k+ annual income and 4+ years of college.
· ABC aired 7 of the Top 15 regular entertainment broadcasts during the first week of the season with Upscale Adults 18-49 (AD18-49 in $100K+ annual income homes), including the Top 2 shows: "Modern Family" (6.8 rating) - #1, "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." (6.2 rating) - #2, "Grey's Anatomy" (3.9 rating) - #9, "The Goldbergs" (3.6 rating) - #10, "The Middle" (3.2 rating) and "Revenge" (3.2 rating) tied at #11 and "Nashville" (3.1 rating) - #13. · Reporting an annual median income of $80,400 for its young adult audience (up from $77,700 on the year-ago week), ABC's "Modern Family" drew premiere week's highest median income for any broadcast TV show.
