Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament Reveals $1 Million Renovation; Summer Discounts Announced

By: Jun. 17, 2013

Representatives from Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament announced today the completion of their $1 million facility renovation. After three months of extensive outdoor and indoor renovations to various elements of the Medieval Times castle, it is now ready for its debut.

The majority of the renovations took place in the castle's upper and lower Halls of Arms, where hardwood flooring was added, all walls were freshly painted and new hard and soft seating and tables were added. In addition, the castle's hand-painted murals were refurbished by local Myrtle Beach area artists. The castle's Halls now boast new lighting, new Knights of the Realm flags and new Medieval weapons displays. Inside the castle's main arena are more than 1,200 new chairs and the castle's exterior now features a newly restored drawbridge for guest arrival.

"We are extremely proud of the modifications that have been made to our Medieval Times castle," said Paco Perez, senior vice president and general manager of Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament Myrtle Beach. "This extensive renovation was definitely worth the time and energy that went into completing it. We hope that our guests enjoy the new changes that have been made as much as we do."

Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament is offering families a Royal Break this summer by with admission for adults for $39.95 and $24.95 for children 12-years-of-age and under. This offer is valid through August 31, 2013. To learn more about this special visit, www.medievaltimes.com or by calling 1-866-543-9637.
