DoubleTree by Hilton Celebrates National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day with Free Cookie Giveaways around Nashville

DoubleTree by Hilton will celebrate the "sweetest" holiday, National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day, by bringing "Cookie Care" to Nashville, Tenn., home to the maker of the brand's signature treat, The Christie Cookie Company. Hotel team members from the area will hand out thousands of DoubleTree by Hilton's iconic chocolate chip cookies throughout the day in the hopes of making people's day a little brighter. The celebration will continue by offering free chocolate chip cookies to anyone who walks into any DoubleTree by Hilton hotel - with or without a reservation. The initiative is part of the hotel brand's global Cookie Care campaign, which launched this spring to celebrate the brand's milestone of more than 300 million cookies given to guests as a welcome at hotel check-in. The program takes the brand's sweet treat beyond hotel doors to surprise people at high-profile events and important moments.

DoubleTree by Hilton will be celebrating National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day by spreading the Cookie Care through:

• Conducting cookie giveaway events from 11 AM - 1 PM at Walk of Fame Park (121 4th Avenue S) and at Legislative Plaza (301 6th Avenue N).
• Surprising Martha O'Bryan Center with a special cookie delivery.
• Offering free chocolate chip cookies to anyone who walks into a DoubleTree by Hilton location - with or without reservation.
• Inviting consumers all over the U.S. to join the conversation and celebrate along using #CookieCare on social media to recognize someone they would like to share #CookieCare with on this sweet holiday for a chance to surprise others!

In the spirit of paying it forward, everyone will receive two cookies - one to keep and one to share!
