CURB APPEAL, CASH & CARI Stars Set for Austin Spring Home and Garden Show Next Week

Watch creativity blossom at the last and most spectacular home and garden show of the season, the 9th Annual Austin Spring Home and Garden Show. Doors open Friday, February 28th through Sunday March 2nd at the Austin Convention Center, 500 East Cesar Chavez, Austin, Texas 78701.

Spring has sprung with the perfect time to get a jump on home and garden projects, whether it's landscaping, building, remodeling or decorating. The Austin Convention Center will be transformed with fresh ideas from hundreds of experts who spend days creating elaborate, stunning displays. From brilliant gardens to full living room, kitchen and bath interiors, sunrooms, home technology, green living and closet organization, there is something for every home and garden interest. Guests may comparison shop, ask advice from industry professionals, browse for new ideas and take in aisle after aisle of unique booths, displays and demos. There are also unique gifts for purchase, including art, gourmet treats and official GO TEXAN products.

Show Technology is especially honored to present two veryspecial celebrity guests; Cari Cucksey, star of HGTV's Cash & Cari who will be presenting seminars and question/answer sessions on both Saturday and Sunday, and John Gidding, star of HGTV's Curb Appeal and Designed to Sell on Sunday.

Show times are Friday, February 28th from 2 - 7:00 pm, Saturday, March 1st from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm and Sunday, March 2nd from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. The show is $8.50 for adults (17+), $6.50 for seniors (65+) all weekend, and free for those 16 and under. In honor of our military personnel,there is complimentary admission for all active duty service men and women (valid ID required). There is a $1.00 adultadmission coupon at www.austinhomeandgardenshow.com.Guests will receive free tote bags while supplies last.

There is excitement for all ages, so the entire family can enjoy the show together. There will be movies and art projects by Costco, Macaroni Kid projects, such as, Bricks 4 Kidz LEGO Mindstorm EV3Robotics and Bricks 4 Kidz Interactive Motorized Model: Spinart. There will also be complimentary kid's cooking classes by Chef Lori Hinze and all sorts of fun activities from Macaroni Kid.

Finally, what home wouldn't be complete without a family pet? Guests can even take home a new furry member of the family at a free pet adoption area by the Austin Humane Society.
