Descarga, the largest free Latin music summer concert series in Los Angeles, California and Las Vegas, Nevada, is back this summer with its hottest lineup to date. Presented by Telemundo and mun2, the free, family-friendly concert event features the most popular nationally and internationally renowned Latin stars, as well as the most in-demand new and up-and-coming artists.
At the series, fans are treated to an array of raffles, prizes, gifts, exciting activities, and special appearances by
Telemundo and
mun2 personalities. Portions of the concerts will be broadcast through mun2's hit one-hour Regional Mexican music series "Reventon" and the network's newest music entertainment and celebrity lifestyle show "mun2 ¡pop!"
Last year's events broke attendance records in both cities, with over 15,000 people in one night in Las Vegas. The concerts will take place from 6:00 to 9:00 pm on Sunday August 4, 11, 18 and 25 at CityWalk's 5 Towers Plaza in
Universal Studios Hollywood, and on Saturday August 10 and 24 at Freemont Street Experience in Las Vegas. El Dasa, Regulo Caro, Angel & Khriz, Sensato, Frankie J, Sie7e, Kevin Ortiz,

Descarga kicks off with exciting live musical performances by an array of sensational and happening regional Mexican musical acts. Charismatic and talented, Regulo Caro is one of the leading men of the new corrido wave that has taken the younger bilingual audience by a storm. A heartthrob from Sonora, Mexico; El Dasa has quickly conquered fans on both sides of the border with his charisma, unique voice and dancing ability; he was discovered by Vicente Fernández. Newcomer Adriel Favela offers a fresh twist to Mexican regional music with a combination of elegance and his privileged and trained vocals. Descarga at the Freemont Street Experience in Las Vegas kicks off with renowned Latin pop artists Frankie J, Renzo and Sie7e. Tijuana born
Frankie J is a former member of the musical group Kumbia Kings that reached crossover success and #3 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart with "Obsession (No Es Amor)". With a unique, youthful and romantic style, the emerging merengue singer, Renzo, explores musical fusion; mixing Pop, R&B and Hip Hop with merengue. Latin Grammy winner as "New Artist," Sie7e is a Latin pop singer/songwriter from Puerto Rico with an eclectic style that draws from rock en español and tropical as well as pop and reggae styles.

Universal Studios Hollywood will move to the rhythm of tropical and urban music. The event will be headlined by Angel & Khriz, the Puerto Rican Reggaeton duo also known as "The Mvps of Reggaeton" who recently joined the Mr. 305 Records label, owned by producer and performer,
Pitbull for the release of their fourth album. Angel & Khriz collaborated with many well-known Reggaeton artists, including
Daddy Yankee, Tito El Bambino, and Don Omar before releasing their first studio album that earned platinum and their career has been on the upswing ever since.
