Shared a week ago via NPR First Listen, political punk act Worriers release their highly anticipated debut album Imaginary Life today via Don Giovanni Records. Produced by Laura Jane Grance of Against Me! and recorded/mixed by Marc Jacob Hudson (Saves The Day, Against Me!), the new record reinforces the powerful punk prowess that fans have come to expect.
Imaginary Life solidifies Worriers' formidable voice, resonating stronger than ever in both sound and message. Offering a playful take on the politically charged album track, "Most Space," the video features the band & friends' hijinks on the NYC subways. The "Most Space" video premiered with Rookie this week and is available to post & share this week! Fans can also hear Laura Jane Grace of Against Me! + Imaginary Life producer in conversation with Worriers' Lauren Denitizio at NPR Music where they touch upon gender in music, art, collaboration and more. In support of the new record, Worriers are set for a national tour kicking off tonight with an album release show at Brooklyn's Knitting Factory. On this stint of dates, the band will share select stages with Adult Mom, Fleabite, Chumped, Thin Lips, Cayetana and Sheer Mag. Worriers National Tour DatesPhoto Credit: Mars Ganito
