The WorldStage! concerts at the Cultural Center continue this summer with the ethereal and mystical sounds of Desert Wind on Monday, August 18.

Gates open at 7:00 p.m. Concert at 8:00 p.m. at the Utah Cultural Celebration Center, 1355 West 3100 South. Everyone is invited to the WorldStage! concert FREE of charge.

Desert Wind world fusion band performs numerous styles of music, featuring seven multitalented musicians. Performing original and cover material, their appearances occur coast-to-coast in the US, with diverse acclaimed performances in multiple venues. Given the current situation in the Middle East, for this special concert

Desert Wind will focus on music of peace and harmony. Band members represent several faith traditions, and bring beautiful Middle Eastern rhythms into the Jewish music they will be performing. Songwriter Alan Andalin has written numerous songs of peace, and now, more than ever, Desert Wind wishes to share music of world peace as part of the WorldStage! concerts.
