Using the newest technology, last night's 2014 Billboard Music Awards featured an appearance by a hologram of Michael Jackson, performing 'Slave to the Rhythm." Check it out below!

Midway through the number, which featured a five-piece band and sixteen dancers, Jackson appeared in his signature gold jacket, white T-shirt and red pants on a set which resembled the art work for his 1991 album 'Dangerous.'

"We've been talking about it for the last five months and while we were talking about it they were still inventing the process," says Billboard Music Awards director and producer Larry Klein. "It was really strange talking about something that did not exist."

The track was put on tape with L.A. Reid and Babyface during the recording sessions of the 'Dangerous' album and was released this week on 'XSCAPE', produced byTimbaland. The posthumous album now sits at the No. 2 position on the Billboard 200, just behind the new Black Keys album.
