Legendary singer Elton John took time out of his Liverpool Echo Arena concert on Tuesday, June 14th, to pay tribute to the victims of the Orlando shooting, which took the lives of 49 people and left 53 injured.

Said the multi-Grammy winner, "Now I have something to say but bear with me, in recent months I've been working on a project for my foundation called Love and Bravery with Lady Gaga, and it's about having the love to accept everyone for who they are, especially people who are different from you and the bravery to show it."

He continues, "When a horror like this massacre in Orlando comes along great agony like a tsunami and great grief. We feel shock, angry and we're devastatingly sad for the people who died and for the loved ones who are mourning." Watch the video.
