As they prepare for the release of their latest single "Fight Or Flight" and its unprecedented state-of-the-art music video, THE SECRET STATE have announced a run of June tour dates supporting Smile Empty Soul and Boy Hits Car.

Kicking off Sunday, June 16 in Colorado Springs, CO, the 11-date tour will then hit such markets as Denver, St. Charles, IL, Flint, MI, Sauget, IL, and Tulsa, before wrapping Saturday, June 29 in Tempe, AZ. The tour will also be making a stop on Saturday, June 22 at Rockapalooza at the Jackson County Fairgrounds in Jackson, MI to perform alongside the likes of Candlebox, Saliva, Mushroomhead, Taproot and many more. See below for the list of tour dates; additional shows will likely be added.

Prior to heading out on this tour run, THE SECRET STATE--Dan Martiniano (Lead Vocals, Piano), Josh Jones (Guitar, Vocals), Hunter Schafer (Bass, Backup Vocals), Danny Espinosa (Digital Performer) and Mike Marx-Gibbons (Drums, Violin)--will be performing at a special military benefit concert at B.B. Kings Blues Club in Times Square, New York, onSunday, June 2. Hosted by Give An Hour--a national nonprofit organization providing mental health services at no cost to members of the military, veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan, their loved ones and their communities (www.giveanhour.org)--the"A Celebration of Service: Honoring Our Military Men and Women and Those Who Serve Them" concert will also feature Little Big Band, featuring Mark Rivera, long-time member of the Billy Joel Band and musical director for Ringo Starr, "American Idol" winner Kris Allen, accomplished country musician Danielle Peck, actress, singer and social activist Gloria Reuben and alternative funk rock musician The 9th. Concert tickets range from $25-300 and can be purchased through Ticketmaster at http://bit.ly/10QPSWQ.

THE SECRET STATE released their hit single "The Biggest Mistake" in September 2012 and quickly saw the official music video for the track become a viral sensation. The video continues to garner worldwide attention and has surpassed 66 million views. Watch it here: http://youtu.be/DEY_zh0Cxh8. Their next single "Fight Or Flight"--a song about a patrol on deployment in Afghanistan and their homecoming--is one that is very personal to the band. The Baltimore-based five-some includes three members who have served in the military. The drummer and violinist, MIKE MARX-GIBBONS, enlisted in theArmy on September 12, 2001 and has stayed in the Army National Guard to present. He served in Iraq from Dec 2003 to May 2005 as a Combat Medic. Two other band members, guitarist JOSH JONES and digital performer DANNY ESPINOSA, were in the Coast Guard and later served in Afghanistan as defense contractors.

Featuring active duty soldiers, the official music video for "Fight Or Flight" was shot at Fort Irwin in California at the U.S. Army's National Training Center (NTC), with access and clearance that has never before been granted by the U.S. Army, who have given their full support to the project. The video's goal is to honor and pay tribute to the U.S. military and to give the world an authentic glimpse and a visceral understanding of what American Soldiers face in combat overseas. The official release of the song and video are forthcoming, but a behind-the-scenes teaser clip (which has already been viewed over 10.3 million times) can be seen here http://youtu.be/zUYymeLTndM.

The band is currently working on their debut full-length album to be released in 2013. The new music will continue to showcase the group's unique rock, electronic-tinged sound paired with real and heartfelt lyrics.
