The Flex Crew, B-Jazz and More Set for 2014 'Backstage at the Lincoln' Series

Backstage at the Lincoln, the Lincoln Theatre's intimate, local concert series, will hold two additional concerts in 2014. This series offers concertgoers the extraordinary opportunity to be seated on stage with the featured local artist, providing an up-close-and-personal performance set against the hand-painted grandeur of the Lincoln's rare Egyptian Revival-style motif.

The schedule is as follows:

November 20 -- The Flex Crew

December 4 -- B-Jazz & the Jazz-Hop Movement

Tickets are $10 and seating is limited. All concerts begin at 7pm at the Lincoln Theatre (769 E. Long St.). Tickets can be purchased at the CAPA Ticket Center (39 E. About Flex Crew - The eight members of The Flex Crew hail from a variety of musical backgrounds, resulting in a versatile and high energy band that redefines reggae music. This multi-talented band has been infusing their sound with a mix of funk, R&B, soul, hip hop, roots, and dancehall styles for nearly two decades. About B-Jazz - Brandon Scott, also known as B-Jazz, is a multi-talented pianist and composer known for founding the Jazz-Hop movement, a sound which blends jazz and hip hop. As a part of the Liquid Crystal Project, he has toured internationally, and he has also played alongside some of his biggest influences such as Isaac Hayes, Roy Ayers, Aaron Hall, and Fantasia. As a producer, his credits include work on Eric Roberson's Mr. Nice Guy (2011) and Middle Child's Barefeet & Pregnant (2005).
