The Hip Hop Hall of Fame Museum is set to unveil the First Annual NYC Hip Hop Music & Culture Festival coming in May 2015 during Hip Hop Appreciation Week that is a Nationally recognized Hip Hop Holiday. Chairman JT Thompson of the Hip Hop Hall of Fame Museum will Executive Produce the Festival with Alexia Martinique for Hip Hop Global Media & Entertainment, LLC with Co-Producers Easy A.D. for Hip Hop Healthy Edutainment, LLC, and Kenny 'Lord Yoda X' Syder for Freedome7 Entertainment. 'New York City will finally get the respect and admiration from Hip Hop lovers around the world who will tune into the birthplace of Hip Hop in New York City during Hip Hop Appreciation Week' every year, stated JT Thompson.
This one of a kind festival will celebrate the history of hip hop music & culture from the 70s, 80s, 90s, and 2000s millennial generation with all of its elements including the foundation with major DJs including BET Smirnoff Mixmaster DJ Mell Starr, MC Artists Performing that will represent all five NYC Boroughs with nationally recognized special guests artists appearing at each location, with B-Boys/Girls crews from all over NYC and Tri-State areas, Graffiti Writer and Artists showcasing their artwork on canvases, with celebrity guest hosts, radio personalities, with community arts and educational institutions. The event will also provide the biggest NYC stage to showcase up and coming emerging artists from around NYC and the nation in the Hip Hop Mecca New York City.
