The Ellameno Beat have released their first single off their upcoming album Surface, due out in August. The spacey dub-infused track features heavy bass, air-tight drumming and memorable vocal and synth melodies. The single was premiered at Rootfire, the trendsetting lifestyle blog, and can be found here.

The creative process always seems to be a topic of interest. Whether it's the aspiring artist, or the curious fan, the method behind the execution is routinely discussed. Some songs are years in the making, while others happen overnight. While some people rely on certain routines and structures, inspiration tends to come and go of its own accord. Such is the case with the fittingly titled "Muse," a track created in one overnight meditative haze.

The track aims to inspire, and encourages the listener to follow their own muses. The song itself is what frontman Reggie Froom describes as a call and response "between my physical will & this mysterious muse." The deep bass grooves act as a hypnotic center for the subject matter to help the listener tune into their subconscious thoughts. Froom elaborates " I hope that they can find, or be reminded of, a vivid view of what sincerely inspires them to the core after listening to "Muse"."

While "Muse" gives listeners a taste of the direction of the band, fans will have to wait until the album drops for the whole meal. In a world of one-trick-ponies, The Ellameno Beat guarantee that "Muse" is only a sliver of what to expect.

The album will be their debut full-length release, following the success of 2015's Party Wave EP that put them on the map, peaking at #3 on the iTunes Reggae Charts as well as #11 on Billboard's. Their partnership with Stoke Surfboards has allowed them to spread their music and lifestyle across the east coast, and the substance has backed it up. This young band already shown their proficiency and continue to carve out a space for themselves. The band will be touring the east coast, dates listed below.
