On Monday LOGO TV's NewNowNext and VEVO will premiere the latest music video by out rapper and singer/songwriter, Solomon for his current single, "The Way We Were." One year after premiering his video, "Life Goes On...," the artist reinvents himself once again by jumping genres and crafting a heartfelt song and video. Inspired by the Tom Ford directed film A Single Man, Solomon's latest music video shows the stylish singer stuck in the past and a victim of his own mind.

Directed by Mikhail Torich, the video plays in reverse beginning with a scene where Solomon perfectly put together in a suit and tie, wakes up in an immaculately organized home. As the video progresses, you see Solomon resort to bad behavior and an unkept appearance and house. "The song is about losing a relationship over being too complicated," explains Solomon. "So the video shows me trying my hardest to be perfect. Cleaning up my home, organizing notes, archiving Polaroids and grooming myself."

"I've always been fascinated with the mind and how we perceive things. I wanted to play with elements of perception. I also wanted to delve into post traumatic behavior and showcase how some people cope. In the video there's a bit of crazy. I wanted the character to be lovable but unstable, even in the midst of his new found perfection," shares Solomon.

Apart from a new music video, Solomon is in the studio recording new material for his debut album Why Boys Cry . But first the singer plans to release a new EP titled Le Garçon, slated for a November 2013 release. He is currently managing Wilson Knight, a new artist he signed on his label and writing a novel set to be release shortly after his album in 2014.

Born a Capricorn, Solomon is a singer/songwriter, rapper and producer. Introduced in 2008 on Eminem's Shade45 Sirius Radio Show, the artist has gone on to release a plethora of singles, remixes, EP's and mix-tapes. His last single, "Life Goes On..." proven a success on on Sirius/XM and Pandora radio. With music videos debuting on MTV, VEVO, Logo's NewNowNext and more, the singer has toured with the likes of Deborah Cox, Kelly Rowland and headlined a show at West Hollywood's Key Club. Solomon is currently in the studio working on his debut album, Why Boys Cry, slated for a December 2013 release. For all things Solomon, please visit solomon-music.com
