Voices United for the Separation of Church & State present Shelley Segal & Jacob Haller in concert on Friday, September 6th at 8pm at Artists' Exchange, 50 Rolfe Square, Cranston, RI. Tickets: $20.

"Music has been engaging people with important issues throughout American history, whether by increasing awareness of a cause or pushing for action. We want to build on this rich history by celebrating the importance of the constitutional principle of church-state separation, standing up for individual liberties in the halls of government and rallying the people of this country in support of freedom of conscience." ~ Voices United for Separation of Church and State.

Shelley Segal, an Australia-based singer-songwriter, is involved in secular activism. Her songs are a passionate response to dogmatic belief, inequality, and religious oppression. Jacob Haller's songs are catchy and quirky. He's been nominated for 'best singer/songwriter' in various local publications, and considers Anne Hutchinson a personal hero.
