On the heels of dates supporting Queens of the Stone Age, British duo Royal Blood today released a new music video for "How Did We Get So Dark?," the title track to their acclaimed second studio album. The clip was mentioned on-air this morning on The Howard Stern Show and is now available to watch in full exclusively HERE.

Directed by The Sacred Egg (Royal Blood's "Lights Out," Arcade Fire's "Everything Now"), the video is set in a dystopian future in which rabbits have become a valuable commodity that humans battle to obtain. Echoing the neo-noir atmospherics of Tarantino's Death Proof, it finds Mike Kerr and Ben Thatcher embroiled in an all-action thriller featuring high speed car chases and frenetic shoot-outs.

How Did We Get So Dark? was released on June 16th on Warner Bros. Records and debuted at No. 1 in the U.K. The album has accumulated more than 30 million streams to date across Spotify and Apple Music, sold over 250,000 copies globally, and produced the band's second No. 1 single on the Rock Airplay chart. In the U.S., the album debuted in the Top 10 on the Current Albums, Hard Music Albums, Rock Albums, Alternative Albums, and Overall Digital Albums charts. The current single "I Only Lie When I Love You" is climbing the Alternative and Rock radio charts after being the #1 most added upon its debut.

Praise for How Did We Get So Dark? includes USA Today: "a monstrously good album," Rolling Stone: "a taut, smoldering album from a pair that has distilled rock to its essence," NME: "the sound of modern masters honing their craft," Entertainment Weekly: "darkly thrilling," Forbes: "Royal Blood ready to make leap to rock stardom on second album," and much more. Royal Blood performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Late Night with Seth Meyers, and The Late Late Show with James Corden in support of the release.

Royal Blood wrapped a run of sold out dates supporting Queens of the Stone Age last night at Madison Square Garden. Later this week the band will head to Europe for additional dates, including the band's U.K. and Ireland arena tour, which will see them play to more than 100,000 people. The tour includes three nights at London's historic Alexandra Palace. This December, the band will be back in the U.S. playing various radio shows, including KROQ's Almost Acoustic Christmas in Los Angeles. They will also support Queens of the Stone Age at the Forum in Los Angeles on February 17th.

On November 1st, Royal Blood will return to Last Call with Carson Daly on NBC for a rousing live performance of "I Only Lie When I Love You" and "Figure It Out" taped at the Wiltern in Los Angeles this past summer. Tune in on NBC or watch on NBC.COM and Hulu.
Royal Blood's "Figure It Out" is currently featured in the new trailer for the latest Call of Duty game, Call of Duty: WWII. Watch HERE.
