Rising French Star Malikk Unveils I LIKE IT EP
Rising French star, Malikk, has been causing something of a stir over the past couple of years with his mature production skills on a number of body-moving House tracks on labels such as LouLou Records and Bunny Tiger.
With his unique sound becoming increasingly recognisable, his services for remix work and DJ performances are becoming as sought after as his signature with record labels lining up to release the next Malikk floor-filler. No surprise really when none other than godfather of the French touch scene, Etienne De Crecy, approves of your remix of his hit, 'Smile'.
In between flying all over the globe to festivals such as Sonar in Barcelona and ADE in Amsterdam, Malikk had time to sign a deal with Jango Music to release the 'I Like It EP' and it looks set to ensure Malikk's rise continues.
Comprising of the title track, 'I Like It', 'The Rabbits' and 'White Girl' the EP oozes Deep House and Tech House class with bass lines for clubbers to lose themselves in. Malikk manages to keep the vibe of the whole EP very upbeat while maintaining often stripped back melodies, dubbed vocals and 303 Acid patterns. There's something very warehouse yet accessible about this EP and it's definitely one for any serious House fan's collection. 'I Like It EP' by Malikk on Jango Music is out now on Beatport.
