The Madison Square Garden Company and Larry Magid Entertainment Group announced today that progressive rock icons King Crimson will take the Beacon Theatre stage for two nights on Friday, November 17 and Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 8:00PM. Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Friday, July 21 at 10:00AM.

King Crimson formed in 1969 at the Fulham Palace Café in London. The band rose to fame after supporting The Rolling Stones at Hyde Park. Their groundbreaking debut "In The Court Of The Crimson King," described by The Who's Pete Townshend as "an uncanny masterpiece," began a career that has spanned nearly five decades.

Throughout changes in their eight-piece lineup, King Crimson continued to produce challenging and intriguing music on albums such as "In The Wake of Poseidon," "Lizard," "Islands" and "Earthbound." The current lineup has been touring since 2014, honoring the band's strong reputation with sold out shows across the globe - a testament to the band's timeless and original sound.

Tickets go on sale Friday, July 21 at 10:00AM and will be available through Ticketmaster Charge By Phone (1-866-858-0008) and all Ticketmaster Outlets. Tickets will also be available in person on Saturday, July 22 at the Madison Square Garden, Radio City Music Hall and Beacon Theatre box offices.
