The music and entertainment industry is to the extreme with their constant smoke and mirrors i.e, TV shows telling us who can and can't sing, tabloids reporting gossip on wanna-be musicians and celebrities that make up most of the music industry today. Talent, however, is something that is undeniable.

Here comes Jonny, a 23 year old singer and songwriter with pure musical talent will find a way to stand out in this digital age of YouTube, social media, and bedroom recording studios. He is a rising talent and gifted musician that label A&R's use to hunt around looking for. In the 70s - he would be looking at a few major label deals, in the 80s - labels would be hiring video specialists to get this kid the right MTV video, in the 90s - he would have enjoyed the CD selling boom and gone 5x's Platinum, but this is 2013, and Jonny Rice is rising as the major music labels are collapsing.

Jonny is independent. Jonny is a man with a platinum selling voice, in a time period when labels are happy to sell 20 thousand albums. The moral of the story, it doesn't matter, Jonny Rice is that good. He is that once in an era musician and he isn't going unnoticed. Music manager Gary Meeks, who sold two-million records with his son Travis Meeks and Days of the New (Geffen/Interscope) along with doing business on major tours that included Metallica, Aerosmith, Creed, Kid Rock, Jerry Cantrel (from Alice in Chains) said this; "Jonny has made me come out of industry retirement and got me wanting to play ball again with the majors again. This kid is that good." That's a great co-sign as Jonny is gearing up to release his debut album, Average Man this summer and his lead single for the project titled "I'm Leaving"

The video for "I'm Leaving" isn't just your typical music video. The video is a visual journey of Jonny leaving one life and preparing himself for a new one. That new life, it seems to be on a road towards success with his music. The video release party is set for June 29th at The Pub/Panini in Canton, Ohio. There will be a very special guest appearing, the very beautiful, Caitlin O'Connor who will be in the back to back issues of Maxim Magazine.(July and August) Numerous media outlets will be covering the event, and there will be a performance by Jonny after the showing.
