MotorCity Casino Hotel will welcome Jonny Lang to Sound Board tonight, May 14, 2015 at 8:00 p.m.

At 16, Jonny Lang realized incredible success with the release of his album Lie To Me. However, fame doesn't seem to have prevented him from being the same country farm boy from Fargo, ND who got his start in the local clubs of Minneapolis. Lang has a keen sense of what he aims to achieve creatively, and is focused on the impact his songs bring to the lives of those who encounter them. This album defies categorization by a single genre. The textured arrangements, broad worldview, gorgeous vocal melodies, and expressive guitar playing are what define Fight For My Soul. It is unequivocally what Lang aimed to achieve over the long period he worked on reaching a realized vision. With the release of Fight For My Soul, Lang enters a chapter that has allowed him to find his true voice.

Lang has worked with some of the most respected legends in music, having shared the stage with The Rolling Stones, B.B. King, Aerosmith, Sting, and Buddy Guy, with whom he continues to tour today.
