Morgan Karr, Nashville-born singer/songwriter, will be making his Rockwood Music Hall debut after playing to sold out crowds at Joe's Pub and The Bitter End this past fall. Adding a full band to his soaring vocals, Karr will showcase his soulful pop/rock sound by playing his original music as well as his own twist on hits by Sara Bareilles, Bruno Mars, and The Fugees.

"I can't think of a better way to ring in my twenty-fourth year than by playing some of my newest songs," Karr said.

Karr will be performing music from his new EP to be released this spring, which is a collaboration with producers and co-writers Juan Patiño (Grammy nomination, Lisa Loeb "Stay"), Kevin Fisher (Rascal Flatts, Sara Evans), and Cliff Goldmacher (Jane Monheit, Spencer Day). The band will feature Will Van Dyke (piano), ADAM STOLER (guitar), Drew Gasparini (guitar), DREW MCKEAN (drums), Steve Gilewski (bass), and ALLISON
SEIDNER (cello).

In addition to music, Karr has appeard on Broadway in the 8-time Tony Award-winning musical Spring Awakening, and also in Second Stage's Everyday Rapture. He recently won Amateur Night at the famed Apollo Theater.
