Millionyoung Releases Official Video for 'Rare Form'

Millionyoung, the pseudonym for Miami's Mike Diaz, has released the official video for new single "Rare Form." The video, which follows Diaz through a trippy, colorful masterpiece of visuals, premiered today with Variance Magazine. Check it out now HERE.

"Rare Form" is expected be to released alongside various remixes of the track throughout fall 2017 forming an official remix EP. The track saw a release August 2017 and is a re-introduction since Millionyoung's last 2014 EP Materia. The track premiered with Magnetic Magazine here.

Miilionyoung also recently spearheaded a hurricane relief effort in the aftermath of Hurricane Irma with aptly titled track "Huraca?n." As Diaz puts it, "I was fortunate to keep power long enough to write some new tunes during the hurricane last week, but others took a serious hit."

"Huraca?n" and is available now at Bandcamp for a 'name your own price donation' here. All proceeds go to All Hands Volunteers disaster relief (https://www.hands.org/) and ASPCA animal rescue efforts (https://www.aspca.org/).

Finding itself at a unique intersection of house music rhythms and 70s funk psychedelia, Diaz's music feels as welcome on a crowded dance floor as it does on long road trips, blending bright electronic synths with layered guitars and vocals to create lush tropical soundscapes.

Mike is a multi-talented artist, producer, and DJ. He released his debut EP in 2009 titled Sunndreamm, and has since released numerous LPs, EPs, and remixes that have seen coverage from outlets from Pitchfork to The Guardian.
