Celebrating their 20th anniversary together, country music quartet Lonestar is currently on an extensive anniversary tour, with more 90 dates scheduled in North America. One of those dates is Sunday, February 16, when the group will make a stop at the Gallo Center for the Arts at 7 pm.

Tickets for the concert range in price from $25 to $55, and may be purchased online at www.galloarts.org, by calling (209) 338-2100, or from the Gallo Center ticket office at 1000 I Street in downtown Modesto.

Known for merging their country roots with strong melodies and rich vocals, Lonestar has sold in excess of ten million album units and achieved ten #1 country hits including "No News," "Come Crying To Me," "Amazed," "I'm Already There," "My Front Porch Looking In," and "Mr. Mom." The band's awards include a 1999 Academy of Country Music Single of The Year for "Amazed" (the song also won the Song of the Year award) and the 2001 Country Music Association Vocal Group of the Year.

After the band's formation in Nashville, Lonestar played over 500 shows before landing a recording contract. The band continued to ascend in the years that followed. Their third album, "Lonely Grill," was especially successful from both a creative and sales standpoint. In addition to "Amazed," which was #1 with country audiences for eight weeks in a row, "Lonely Grill" yielded three more #1 country hits: "Smile," "Tell Her," and "What About Now."
