On June 2, Lenka will launch a U.S. tour at Soda Bar in San Diego, CA in support of her forthcoming album, Shadows, which will be released on the Australian singer-songwriter's own Skipalong Records on June 4. She'll perform at Hotel Café in Los Angeles on June 4 and at Joe's Pub in New York City on July 18. The run will wrap up with a show at Schubas in Chicago on July 26. The dates are part of Lenka's 2013 international tour, which will also take her to Asia and Europe.

Today "Heart To The Party," a track from Shadows, is Glamour.com's "Morning Jam." The song premieres here. "Heart To The Party" and "No Harm Tonight," another song from the upcoming album, mark her first collaborations Tom Schutzinger since their days playing together in the acclaimed Australian electronic/ambient band Decoder Ring.

Lenka will be previewing additional songs from Shadows in an intimate Stageit show this Sunday, April 14, at 8:00 p.m. ET/5:00 p.m. PT. Accompanied by string players and performing live in her Sydney backyard, she will also play songs requested by fans and answer questions. Top tippers will be rewarded with exclusive gifts as well. A limited number of tickets are still available here. The online performances streamed on Stageit - a web-based platform that enables artists to easily create paid live shows directly from their laptops - are not archived, so they remain truly unique experiences for the virtual attendees.

Shadows, which was recorded in New York, Montreal, Toronto and her hometown of Sydney, is a highly personal collection of songs, penned while Lenka was pregnant with her first child. Tracy Bonham plays violin on the celebratory "After the Winter" and the in utero heartbeat of Lenka's son can be heard on "Two Heartbeats," which is written from the perspective of an unborn child. The album has its soothing moments, to be sure, but Shadows also grapples head-on with separation ("Faster With You"), loss (the heartbreaking"Nothing") and the fears that keep young and old awake at night ("Monsters").

Lenka - who has performed on such shows as "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" "Late Night with Conan O'Brien," "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" and "Fox & Friends" - released her self-titled debut album in 2008. It entered Billboard's Heatseekers chart at #3 and contained "The Show," a No. 1 single at radio in three countries that has had a very long life. It was the pivotal song in the 2011 film "Moneyball" and Billy Crystal sang "The Show" during his opening monologue for the 2012 Oscars. "The Show" has also been heard in promotional spots for "Ugly Betty," Old Navy, Coca-Cola, Apple and Crate & Barrel commercials, and on "Dancing With The Stars" and "Grey's Anatomy."

Billboard hailed her 2011 album, Two, as "unfailingly sunny" and the Los Angeles Times Magazine noted: "Lenka pens catchy songs that seem playful on the surface but have a lyrical bite." The title track can be heard in a GMC commercial in North America while Lenka's video for"Everything at Once" was featured in a global commercial for Microsoft Windows 8. "Heart Skips a Beat" was tapped for a global Special K commercial andLenka's video for the song was an iTunes Music Video of the Week. It has since racked up more than five million views on Vevo.
