After a few weeks of knocking persistently on the door, Kanisha K's (www.kanishakmusic.com) summer hit "Bring Me Home" finally hits the Top Ten on the FMQB AC40 Chart with its jump this week to #10-sharing the upper reaches of the list with pop superstars Ingrid Michaelson, Justin Timberlake, OneRepublic and Paramore and emerging stars Sam Smith and Nico & Vinz.

The track, the follow up to the emerging pop songstress' breakthrough hit "My Another Day", is also the #4 Most Added on the same chart. In addition, it eases up from #26 to #25 with a bullet on the Billboard AC Indicator chart while holding steady in the Top 40 of the Mediabase A/C chart.

In other news, Kanisha is quickly becoming the queen of musical retail. While "Bring Me Home" is currently playing in Forever 21 women's clothing stores nationwide, her remixed track "(I Gotta) Stupid Boyfriend" has been picked up for play in Abercrombie & Fitch stores nationwide starting in September.

On August 7, she performed at The Lakeshore Public Radio Free Entertainment Tent at the Lake County Fair in Crown Point, Indiana. As part of R&B/Pop Night, Kanisha K headlined on a bill with the Michael Turner Band; Turner is the touring saxophonist with The Ohio Players.

The Holland, Mich.-based artist will be featured at H.O.M.E. at the B.O.B. in Grand Rapids on August 28 (thebob.com/homelivemusic.php), which is affiliated with the willplayforfoodfoundation.org.

Kanisha K recently snagged a second Hollywood Music in Media Award(HMMA) in the category of Best Pop Song for "Stupid Boyfriend." Previously, she had earned a nomination in the same category for "My Another Day."

"Bring Me Home" was produced by Larry King (Soleil Moon- lead vocalist in theMichael Thompson Band & Larry King Orchestra). The track features some of Chicago's top musicians, including John Blasucci on keyboards, Khari Parker on drums, Lamar Jones on bass and guitarist Chris Siebold.

The track was engineered and mixed by Grammy Award winner Craig Bauer, whose credits include Kanye West, The O'Jays, 98 Degrees, Richard Marx, Styx, Dave Koz, Public Enemy, Brian Culbertson, Nick Carter, Straight No Chaser and others.
