Jd Mccrary, Youngest Solo Artist To Sign With Hollywood Records Releases 'My Name' Video

You're going to know his name after you see "My Name!" Newly-signed to HOLLYWOOD RECORDS as the Youngest Solo Artist ever, JD McCrary, who will soon be heard as Young Simba in Disney's new live-action film The Lion King opposite Donald Glover and Beyonce, has just released a new video "My Name" for his original single.

JD, never one to sit still, filmed this video in Atlanta, while filming the feature film "Little" with Marsai Martiin, Regina Hall, Issa Rae and Justin Hartley. In addition, JD can be seen as Kenny on Tyler Perry's series The Paynes on OWN. Last week, audiences across the globe had the opportunity to see him close out the We Day Event with Cyndi Lauper with Ooh Child. Previously, JD had paired-up with Childish Gambino at The Grammy Awards, impressed Ellen DeGeneres on her show, and brought back memories of a young Michael Jackson on the Little Big Shots stage. He has had the privilege of singing at The LA Clippers games and serving as a Youth Ambassador for Oprah Winfrey.

JD is an advocate for the youth of today, encouraging kids and teens to achieve and make change in today's world. His new song, My Name, is a supportive, positive song and is available on all platforms.
