Ars Nova announces its Project Residency and Uncharted Concerts for September. (All shows are at 8pm unless otherwise noted.) Details below!

The Other Baldwins present Haute Mess
(Thursday 9/6, Friday 9/7 and Saturday 9/8; $15)

Three super hot LA girls set out to incite a revolution at New York's Fall Fashion Week by unionizing America's most brutally mistreated workforce: fashion models. Never mind the children laboring over couture garments in sweat shops or evil Anna Wintour tracking their every move from atop Castle Vogue, these models are determined to seize the day, b*tches - and look fierce doing it!

Part of Ars Nova’s Project Residency initiative to help artists get unique projects off the ground.

Matthew Robinson
(Wednesday, 9/12; $15)

Award-winning Australian composer/lyricist Matthew Robinson brings his witty-yet-tender lyrics and sophisticated sound stateside for the very first time in this mash-up concert of his favorite work. Labelled “irritatingly gifted” by The Sydney Morning Herald and mentored by Stephen Schwartz, Robinson will join with some of the city’s finest performers to introduce a collection of his contemporary musical theater songs.

Part of Ars Nova’s Uncharted initiative to develop and present new work from emerging musical theater artists.

Lizzie Borden
(Thursday, 9/13; $15 **7pm and 10pm Concerts**)

**SOLD OUT**

Musical theater trio extraordinaire, Stephen Cheslik-DeMeyer, Tim Maner and Alan Stevens Hewitt, bring a raucous night of new music to the Nova stage in this concert version of their epic rock musical based on the haunting tale of the infamous axe-wielding murderess, Lizzie Borden. The driving score, inspired by the great stage spectacles of the 70's and brought to life by four fierce female rockers, is sure to leave you feeling all hot and bothered.
