In other Clark news, the song "Grinder," from The Story of Sonny Boy Slim, will be featured as the main titles track for the 2016 Showtime's series, Billions. "Grinder," the next single from Slim showcases Clark's heavy hip-hop, rockin' blues fusion the show's creators were looking for. The show is set to premier Jan 17th, at 10pm ET/PT. 2015 was another banner year for the Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter, and virtuoso guitarist. Clark released The Story of Sonny Boy Slim, which entered the Billboard Top 200 Albums Chart at No 8 and earned him his second consecutive Top Ten album debut. His current headlining tour sold out six months in advance, including two recent packed shows at Terminal 5 in New York City and three intense, sold out nights at The Fonda Theater in his adopted hometown of Los Angeles. Each night of the tour is different from the previous with over two hours of explosive performances that some say were his best ever.

Clarktoured with the Foo Fighters for a month this past fall, at their behest, and recorded on their latest album and performed on their Sonic Highway TV special. He was also invited to open for The Rolling Stones in San Diego on the first night of their 2015 tour, where he also joined them onstage for a rowdy performance of their Sticky Fingers album track "Bitch." In addition, Clark dominated television, with performances on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Austin City Limits, CBS Weekend, and Jimmy Kimmel Live, and graced the covers of Wax Poetics, Guitar Aficionado, Relix, Austin Way, The Blues Magazine (UK) and Premier Guitar magazines. Clark was also featured in a national TV campaign for SONOS.

The live experience for Clark & Co only becomes stronger and more powerful as songs take on a bold new feel night after night. Apart from the festivals mentioned above, expect to see Gary Clark Jr. at several other major festivals around the world will be announced soon. Tour dates as follows:
