French Electronic Duo SYNAPSON Announce New Album SUPER 8 Out Spring 2018

After 150,000 albums sold, 100 million streams, and a sold-out tour with more than 80 dates, French electronic duo Synapson announce their new album Super 8 set for release this spring on Parlophone / Warner Music. A 13-track collection that fuses nu disco, deep house, and their trademark electro sound, the album sees Synapson emerge with their most ambitious work to date.

Having released their house-funk infused single "Hide Away" (feat. Holly) last month to a wide array of internet buzz, the band shares their official "Hide Away" remix package today, available on all digital platforms.

Opening the remix bundle is a stellar Fred Falke remix following his remixes for the likes of Goldfrapp, Kelis, Jamiroquai, and Miley Cyrus. French House producer Sebb Juniorthen takes the track into chilled funky house territory. German producer / DJ Cassara's mix follows pushing the bass harder with a hypnotic groove whilst Black Saint's remix incorporates soulful beats and London's eclectic urban culture. Finally Ukranian duoMaruv & Boosin finish the bundle with a refreshing club anthem rework off the back of their recent Shazam #1 in Russia.

Formed in 2009, Synapson is comprised of French multi-instrumentalists Alexandre Chiere (keyboard, saxophone, beat and vocals) and Paul Cucuron (drums, scratch, record production and mixing). The duo are best known for their remake of Burkinabé singer-songwriter and musician Victor Démé song "Djôn'maya" renamed "Djon Maya Maï". The single charted in France and Belgium, reaching # 12 on the French Singles Chart. The duo had a similar success with "All In You" featuring Anna Kova and making it to # 10 on the French charts. Both hits are included in Synapson's last album Convergence.
