Bringing to an end a 4-year hiatus, legendary San Francisco post-punk trio Erase Errata announced their fourth studio album Lost Weekend, set to be self-released on January 20 via the band's own label Under The Sun and distributed by Revolver. Out Tuesday, the ripping maelstrom is full of peculiar tension and relentless energy sure to satisfy the fans who have been craving more from the band for years.

Notorious for clocking in songs at 60 seconds, the new album packs the same raw punch while also reflecting the band's sonic growth with meatier songs. Having released album opener "History of Handclaps" as a distinguished yet playful foray and "My Life In Shadows" as an early taste of Lost Weekend's thoughtful rage, Erase Errata's 4th LP is now streaming in full with VICE's Noisey ahead of Tuesday's release. Along with the album stream is a thoughtful interview by Meredith Graves of Perfect Pussy, illuminating the band's birth and subsequent hiatus, songwriting methods, and thoughts on women in punk.

Erase Errata is Jenny Hoyston on vocals, guitar, trumpet, Ellie Erickson on bass and Bianca Sparta on drums. Inspired by historical and political events they care deeply about, and the sounds of the Texas Gulf Coast, Lost Weekend features contributions by William Elliot Whitmore, Rob Spector (of Not Not Fun dark wave trio Bronze) and Christina Files (of The Swirlies, Mary Timony Band).
