Ed Sheeran's infectious hit "Shape of You" has just claimed a Billboard record for most weeks in the Hot 100's Top 10. Billboard reports that the song has spent an amazing 33 weeks in the Top 10, beating out previous record-holder, The Chainsmoker's "Closer," that stayed in the top 10 for 32 weeks.

"Shape of You" debuted on the charts back in late January, in the number one slot, and is still tearing up the charts. Bruno Mars "That's What I Like" is the only other song that could give Sheeran a run for his money, as the song spends its 28th week in the Top 10. "That's What I Like" is currently at number 8, while "Shape of You" is at number 9.

Sheeran simultaneously dropped another single, "Castle on the Hill," with "Shape." "Castle on the Hill" peaked at number 6 on the charts when it debuted in late January, but never took off as much as "Shape of You."

Sheeran's next single from his album ÷ (Divide) will be "Perfect."
