Eclypse Records began in 2015 by Grammy Nominated DJ/Producer duo, Feenixpawl (Josh Soon + Aden Forte) and Jason Forte. The label, launched in conjunction with Wind-up Records in April, have released singles and remixes by Feenixpawl and Jason Forte, and are developing a reputation as well-known curators.

No less than 8 months since its inception, Eclypse Records has already achieved chart success, with two of their singles currently charting in the Mediabase Dance Charts: "Ghosts" (ft. Melissa Ramsay) by Feenixpawl at Number 10, and "Blue Sky" by Feenixpawl and Jason Forte (ft. Mary Jane Smith) at Number 28. Mediabase ranks the top rated songs being played at radio stations and their rank each week across 180 stations in the United States and Canada, and has a huge influence in programming. "Ghosts" also found success on the Billboard Dance Charts, currently sitting at Number 17.

"Starting our own label was always a goal of ours," muses Josh Soon of Feenixpawl and Eclypse Records. "We discussed it constantly, but kept pushing the idea back to focus on other things. However, at the end of 2014 we thought the time was right to pursue it."

After building a relationship with Wind-up Records, they were able to partner together to build Eclypse. When reflecting on the growth of the label, Josh notes that it came as a surprise. "For our first two singles on the label, 'Ghosts' and 'Blue Sky', to have this much success straight out of the gate has been completely overwhelming."

Together, Josh, Aden and Jason have been hand selecting music from a fresh batch of up and coming DJ's, releasing tracks from the likes of Bynon, Michael Brun, Reez, Corey James, Joakim Molitor and more. The singles, which have garnered attention from major EDM and electronic outlets like YourEDM, EDM.com, Magnetic Mag and Earmilk, have also gained recognition from the likes of Billboard and other tastemakers in the blogosphere.

What's next for Eclypse Records? "We feel the journey has just begun and we're constantly pushing ourselves to take our music and Eclypse Records to even further heights," adds Josh.
