EMI Drops Female Empowerment Anthem 'Bad Friends' Best known for her hit single "Sip It Slow" (2 million Spotify streams), singer/songwriter EMI has unveiled her brand new summer release "Bad Friends", available now.

EMI?'s ?"Bad Friends" - which she co-produced with Shanti - utilizes rich chord patterns and downtempo synth-based electronica sounds. The female empowered track acts as a celebratory anthem for independent women supporting their friends' hustles.

Serving as a showcase of her wonderfully dynamic sonic range, "Bad Friends" follows the Seattle artist's 2017 debut EP Planet, an eight-track embodiment of her soulful grooves.

Specializing in witty cadences over a cross-blend of genres including R&B, rap, and bass-pop, EMI has collaborated with Rex Kudo, Sevn Thomas, and Charlie Handsome so far in her career, touring with the likes of Young Thug and The Neighbourhood.

Currently working in the studio with Mally Mall, EMI's upcoming project is set to drop later this year, with "Bad Friends" offering fans a taste of what to expect in the next musical chapter of one of America's fastest rising talents.

EMI's "Bad Friends" is available worldwide now.
