Electric Zoo, New York's Electronic Music Festival is coming this Labor Day weekend on September 4 & 5, 2010. Following the success of its kickoff year, Made Event is very excited to announce the hugely anticipated 2010 edition bringing together the highest caliber of artists from across the many sub-genres of electronic music to New York's premier open air festival of electronic music favorites to the beautiful greenery of Randall's Island Park with stunning water views.
With previously announced headlining performances from dance music pioneers The Chemical Brothers and the world's #1 DJ Armin van Buuren, along with Above & Beyond, ATB, Benny Benassi, Fedde Le Grand, John Digweed, and Paul van Dyk, this year's edition of Electric Zoo is already gearing up to close out the summer with a bang. Now, Electric Zoo is proud to announce the next wave of performers set to play New York's most exciting electronic music festival. Randall's Island Park has long enjoyed its position as a recreational hub for Manhattan and the surrounding boroughs for over half a century. Centrally located on the banks of the East River, it is easily accessible from all points by car, bus, bicycle, pedestrian and ferry. With plenty of acreage of grass to dance, chill and roam along with some of the city's most stunning views of the Manhattan skyline, Randall's Island is no doubt the perfect venue for the Electric Zoo festival. With every ticket sold, a $2 donation goes toward the beautification of Randall's Island through environmental art and stewardship.
