Profiles in History is proud to announce the performance worn costumes from music icons will be going up for auction at their three day, Hollywood Auction 89, next week in Los Angeles.

The first costume is the Gianni Versace suit worn by Prince on the cover of Esquire Magazine in 1995. It is a 2-piece wool suit with 4-button jacket and pants, each featuring interior "Gianni Versace Couture Made in Italy" label. It's pictured left and is estimated to sell for $40,000 - $60,000.
Next are two costumes worn by David Bowie. First is the orange jumpsuit worn during the "Jazzin For Blue Jean" music video, it's estimated to sell for $4,000 - $6,000. Second is the suit worn during the "Absolute Beginners" music video, it's estimated to sell for $10,000 - $15,000.
Then the shirt worn by Michael Jackson during his 1995 ABC TV Diane Sawyer interview with his new wife Lisa Marie Presley. It is a crimson custom made silk long sleeve dress shirt. This is from one of his most eagerly watched and controversial television appearances. It is estimated to sell for $15,000 - $20,000.
And the vintage leather jacket worn on stage by
Bruce Springsteen during his breakthrough year, 1975. It was also worn by Bruce in the Newsweek feature titled, Making A Rockstar. It's estimated to sell for $20,000 - $30,000.
Additionally, George Harrison's topcoat from the music video "Handle With Care." It was the first single from The Traveling Wilburys debut album Traveling Wilburys Vol. 1. It's estimated to sell for $10,000 - $15,000.
Then, the Japanesque abstract camouflage ensemble worn by
Lady Gaga on Halloween in London. It's estimated to sell for $4,000 - $6,000.
Next are two pieces worn by Beyoncé . The first is the headpiece from the "Lemonade" music video, it's pictured left and is estimated to sell for $4,000 - $6,000. The second is the latex dress from the "Green Light" video, it's also estimated to sell for $4,000 - $6,000.
And the gold catsuit worn by
Rihanna in the "Rude Boy" music video. It's estimated to sell for $4,000 - $6,000.
Finally, George Michael's stage worn "Cover to Cover" tour jacket. It's a bright orange crepe wool collarless jacket. It's estimated to sell for $8,000 - $12,000. Also from George Michael, his L.A. Police uniform from his controversial "Outside" music video. It's estimated to sell for $10,000 - $15,000.
