DJ BELINDA BECKER
Her roots in Jamaica, combined with wide-ranging musical tastes, are DJ Belinda Becker's calling card. A multi-talented artist-dancer, actress and DJ-Becker has worked at some of New York's most prestigious clubs and lounges over the last 20 years. She spins a wide range of music from soul, funk, r&b, reggae, house, old-school hip-hop, to jazz, afro-beat, afro-cuban and contemporary pop. Becker's one criterion is that "the music has to have soul. When I play, it is all about the musical journey that I take and I want everyone listening to come with me." Becker is consistently listed as one of New York's finest DJs. In 2005, she was inducted into Paper Magazine's New York Nightlife Hall of Fame.
