'Check Yo Ponytail' Tour, with The Presets, Le1f, Antwon, Chela & Franki Chan, Kicks Off This Weekend
The Presets make their first visit to North America for 2014 as headliners of the 2014 Check Yo Ponytail Tour, which kicks off in Denver this weekend at the Ogden Theater this Sunday October 26.
World famous for a blistering live show, partying with The Presets has been described as "The most participatory live dance set I've seen" by Time Out New York, and "unequivocally the best live set I've ever witnessed in my entire life" by LA Music Blog.
The band's live energy is matched with a state of the art stage light show which incorporates a dizzying network of LED imaging, hexagons and lights.
You may have caught The Presets at legendary performances at Coachella (in both 2009 and 2011) or at Treasure Island Music Festival and a sold-out Terminal 5 at CMJ 2012. Their live show has seen them perform across hundreds of venues around the world, top festival bills from South Africa to Colombia, and winning accolades and awards along the way including Best Live Band for the InTheMix Awards 2012, and nominated as Best Live Band at this year's ARIA Awards (the equivalent of the Australian Grammys).
Their new single 'No Fun' is currently hitting US College radio - a track full of reckless, irreverent energy, squelching synth-bass, towering trance melody and a crushing breakdown - also accompanied by a world-first, six-sided music video which you can view over HERE.
2014's Check Yo Ponytail Tour also enlists some amazing talent along the way, with Antwon covering mid-west and down to the South, Le1f picking up most of the West Coast, and Chela and Franki Chan appearing on all shows, and Saint Pepsi for Montreal and Toronto.
