Breakthrough band Biffy Clyro will be hitting the road with Foo Fighters for a portion of their spring tour. The string of dates, which kick off May 17th in Tulsa, OK, will follow a run with Cage the Elephant and an appearance at the Bamboozle Festival in Rutherford, NJ April 30th.

The Scottish trio is fresh off a successful US headlining tour, which included sold-out NYC and LA shows, a KROQ Backyard BBQ performance and a performance on FUEL TV's The Daily Habit. The band's current US single "Many of Horror" is currently off to a great start at alternative radio with major support from Live 105-San Francisco, x96- Salt Lake City, WFNX-Boston, WRFF-Philadelphia, KEXX-Phoenix, CD101-Columbus, KBZT-San Diego and others. They will also be performing "Many of Horror" on NBC's Last Call with Carson Daly Wednesday, March 23rd.

Biffy Clyro was also recently awarded the Shockwave NME Award for Best Live Band, beating out Muse and Arcade Fire. This win adds to Biffy's already lengthy list of accolades. Their fifth studio release, the Garth Richardson-produced Only Revolutions, has spawned three Top Ten singles in the UK and is well on its way to being certified double-platinum there. Only Revolutions was nominated for the coveted 2010 Mercury Prize and their single "Captain" won Best Video at both the Kerrang! and NME Awards in 2010. Only Revolutions has also received substantial critical acclaim in the UK. The Sunday Times, Kerrang and Q each gave it four stars, Esquire labeled it "a blistering triumph" and the NME declared that the release "springs the band instantly level with the greatest rock acts in the world."

Vocalist/guitarist Simon Neil, bassist James Johnston and drummer Ben Johnston formed Biffy Clyro in 1995 and quickly began honing their unique sound, a mind-boggling mix of off-kilter tempos, itchy, unpredictable guitars, soulful choruses and feral screams. Relentless touring built a dedicated army of followers and turned Biffy Clyro into one of the most celebrated live bands in the UK -- they've shared the stage with Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Rolling Stones, The Who and Linkin Park, filled Wembley Arena on a recent headlining run and became the first band ever to play in the Houses of Parliament.
