Belle Game Share 'Only One'w/ Noisey + North American Tour Begins

On the heels of their sophomore album Fear/Nothing via Arts & Crafts and an extensive tour as lead support for Broken Social Scene, Vancouver's Belle Game are set to kick off their North American headline tour tomorrow. The band will bring their kinetic live energy on a 16-date-run that hits cities such as Chicago, Brooklyn, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, and Seattle. Tickets are available for purchase here.

In tandem with the tour, Belle Game share new single "Only One" with Noisey today. The band comments, "Only One is a fever dream of unrequited love. Not necessarily romantic, more of an unachievable comfort with our sense of self. It was one of the earliest songs we wrote for Fear/Nothing, a first practice in exercising feeling over logic. It's an anthem for feeling out of place, a dehydrated trip through a desert and a cruise along the French seaside and a song kept amongst friends, until now.

This song crossed paths with so many people. From the original demo to multiple rounds of tracking and mixing to our producers singing the scratch vocals because Andrea had lost her voice. By the end, the song had too many personalities to fit in amongst what became Fear/Nothing, but because of that, it's always been a track we've kept close to our hearts."

Fear/Nothing is a ten-track collection produced by Dave Hamelin (The Stills) and executive producer Kevin Drew (Broken Social Scene). A record of lush compositions, Belle Game combines the sweeping ethereal pop of the Cocteau Twins with the energetic vocal-driven melodies of genre-defying artists like Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Jessy Lanza. Known for their ability to weave ethereal soundscapes into blown-out, crush-pop confessions, Fear/Nothing received accolades from the likes of W Magazine andBlackbook and saw Belle Game emerge with their most ambitious work to date.
