BUTCH Announces DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE Residency

Taking inspiration from the trippy world of Alice in Wonderland and his strong house and techno roots, Butch announces the return of 'Down The Rabbit Hole' to Berlin institution Watergate.

Continuing to blur the boundaries between music and art, Butch launched the critically acclaimed party series last year with a high concept four date residency at world class venue, Watergate. Now returning with a host of techno's most sought after acts, the powerhouse DJ/producer announces the line ups for this year's five date residency.

Opening on Tuesday 25th July, Butch invites techno pioneer Nastia to kick the residency off with a night of weird production and world class techno. No stranger to the Berlin scene, Nastia makes the perfect addition to the opening line up and is set to take the city's midweek raving scene by storm.

Next up, Butch is joined Down The Rabbit Hole on Tuesday 1st August by seminal underground artist Joseph Capriati. Having made a name for himself as one of the scene's leading lights, Joseph has topped the line up of every major festival and club night across the techno scene. Now joining Butch at Watergate for the first time, this event is sure to be a highlight of the residency.

Having left his mark on last year's residency with an unforgettable five-hour set, South London techno don Skream makes his way back Down The Rabbit Hole on Tuesday 8th August. Known the world over for blending a plethora of genres through his production and electrifYing Live sets, Skream is an obvious choice for Butch's eclectic booking policy.

Tuesday 15th August sees the mad hatter himself take to the legendary basement booth for a special extended set. Playing all night long, revellers can expect to be taken on a journey through Butch's multifarious sonic landscape.

Last but by no means least, Davide Squillace makes his way back to Berlin for a roadblock closing party on Tuesday 22nd August. Renowned the world over for his huge stage presence and iconic track selection, Davide makes for the perfect partner in crime to help Butch bring the residency to a close in true 'Rabbit Hole' style.

Beyond Berlin, Butch plans to take Down The Rabbit Hole on tour. Keep an eye on social media for further announcements.
