Australian Solo Artist Angie McMahon Releases New Single MISSING ME Out Now

It's been an enthusiastic entry into the music scene for Australian solo artist Angie McMahon. Angie released her first single 'Slow Mover' at the close of 2017 to an outpouring of support from fans and industry alike, all of whom have found themselves relating to Angie's effortless way with words.

The song peaked at no.2 on Spotify's Viral Chart and received instant heavy rotation from Australia's new music championing Triple J radio where it ended up making their Hottest 100 chart of the year, no mean feat for a debut release. 'Slow Mover' has since clocked up close to 2 million streams on Spotify alone and has set the bar high for things to come from Angie.

Released today, follow up single 'Missing Me' is the second taster from Angie's upcoming debut album, which she is currently co-producing with Alex O'Gorman.

Angie's honest songwriting and powerful vocals cover the full dynamic spectrum, shifting between gravelly intimacy and pounding rock. Angie pours it all out on stage and record alike.

Speaking about her latest track Angie shares; "'Missing Me' is about releasing all that punchy sass and angst that bubbles under the surface when somebody isn't listening to you, or they're letting you down, or breaking your heart".

Since making the move to pursue music full time, Angie has supported the likes of Father John Misty, Meg Mac, and The Shins to name just a few and she'll embark on a month-long Australia-wide tour with Angus & Julian Stone throughout May. She's become a regular fixture on the Australian festival circuit having most recently played both Secret Garden Festival and Laneway Festival, whilst tickets for her own headline shows continue to sell fast. Full upcoming Australian listings are below with more being added all the time.

Amidst this heavy Australian touring schedule and a debut album on the horizon for release later this year, Angie is also laying plans to make her international live debut with North American and European shows to be announced imminently.
