FlecHaus release their third new single "Pitter Patter" on Friday, July 28. The Austin-based quintet are: Megan Flechaus, lead vocals/rhythm guitar; Kenzie Slottow, flute; Dominick Chaillot, bass; Nathan Smith, drums; and Sara Louise, backing vocals.

The band's previous single "What We've Got" was recently nominated by the L.A. Music Critic Awards in their "Best Single - Group" category.

Pitter Patter, explains Megan, "is a song about the limits of our senses and how that might affect our perception of reality. It began as a long thought tangent I got on one day while listening to the rain on my window ," explains the singer-songwriter-guitarist called "Austin's Rising Star" by Indie Pulse Music. There will be an accompanying video for "Pitter Patter" that was filmed, edited, and produced by Mercury Atlas Productions at The Infinite Monkey Theorem Urban Winery in Austin.

As with FlecHaus' first two singles, Pitter Patter was recorded at The Compound, mastered by Chris Kress, and recorded, mixed, and produced by Benjamin Alan Levy. It's available on CD Baby.

Professor Johnny P's Blogspot cited Megan's "strong, expressive voice which is a delight to hear" in a stellar review of her 2014 album, New, while Robert Legget the LA Music Critic wrote, "Megan Flechaus is an amazing artist who is primed to burst onto the indie music scene."
