'Artpop' has made Gaga a sensation once again. The album debuted at No. 1 this week with 258,000 copies sold, according to Billboard.com

Her previous album 'Born This Way' also reached No.1 upon its debut with 1.1 million sold in its first week back in 2011. Though that number may be skewed thanks in part to an Amazon 99 cent deal back in 2011.

'Artpop' also had the third highest sales week for a female artist this year. Keep in mind she is competing against Katy Perry with 'Prism' and Miley Cyrus with 'Bangerz.' But all three ladies are the only females of 2013 to debut at above 150,000 copies sold. Gaga also pushed Eminem's 'The Marshall Mathers LP 2' into the No. 2 slot.

But this number wasn't just in physical copies. In terms of digital sales Gaga has been selling 146,000 copies a week in digital downloads-making 57% of all her copies sold digital.

It is important to note that Lady Gaga marketed her album quite differently this time around. "Artpop" was also sold through clothing retailer H&M-though it only sold around 1,000 copies.

It will be interesting to see how long her reign can last!
