Andrea Bocelli to Perform in Bangkok With Guests Katharine McPhee, Jackie Evancho, and More

Opera singer Andrea Bocelli will perform during the "MahaNakhon Presents A Magical Night with Andrea Bocelli: The World's Most Beloved Tenor" concert, at the Royal Paragon Hall of Siam Paragon, on April 26 at 8pm.

This is the 57-year-old Italian opera superstar's first performance in Thailand. He is known for his renditions of La Bohème, Il Trovatore, Werther, Pagliacci, Cavalleria Rusticana and Tosca. He is also well-known as a classical singer, and has sold more than 55 million albums worldwide.

Bocelli will perform such numbers as Time To Say Goodbye (Con Te Partiro), The Prayer, Nessun Dorma and Besame Mucho. David Foster, a producer who has won 16 Grammy awards; Katharine McPhee, from American Idol and SMASH; Jackie Evancho, from America's Got Talent; Cuban soprano Maria Aleida; and guitar duo Carisma will appear as guest performers. Maestro Carlo Bernini will conduct an orchestra and choir comprising 100 musicians. Part of the proceeds will be presented to HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn for charitable purposes to mark her 60th birthday.
