Alt Band Bay Ledges Release Eccentric Music Video For I REMEMBER

L.A. based alt band BAY LEDGES, comprised of siblings Zach and Georgia Hurd, released their eccentric new music video, directed by The Mitchells, for their latest single "I Remember." The video premiered exclusively on Billboard (7/26), who noted "the track makes you want to sip on a Mai Tai with a pink straw and tiny umbrella, and its video builds on the summer surrealism vibes."

The music video for "I Remember," has a nostalgic 90s feel and touches on how we tend to lose our innocent perspective on life. Following a couple's night out, the video follows them encountering people with animal masks. At first, resistant to the weirdness, the couple eventually gives into the fun, reminding us that sometimes we don't have to take ourselves too seriously and that inner-child in us is still there.

"It was a lot of fun working with directors Sarah and Justin Mitchell on this video," shares Zach Hurd. "We wanted to have it feel nostalgic like the song while also keeping it fun and weird. Hope the fans enjoy the party animal party."

Written by Zach and Georgia Hurd, in collaboration with Miro Mackie (producer/songwriter/engineer known for his work with The Neighbourhood and St. Vincent), "I Remember" explores a potent nostalgia for the simplicity of childhood. "I Remember" marks Bay Ledges' first release since 2017's Fountain Tropical, an EP featuring their breakthrough single "Safe," which quickly landed on Spotify Fresh Finds playlist, climbed up the Global Viral chart, and ultimately paved the way for Bay Ledges' signing to S-Curve Records.

About Bay Ledges

Comprised of singer/songwriter Zach Hurd and his sister Georgia Hurd, Bay Ledges makes pop music with the power to instantly transport you to a sunnier time and place, an alternate dimension lit in the hazy glow of some faraway memory. Over the past year, Bay Ledges has expanded their live band to a four-piece, and begun taking the stage at festivals like SandJam Fest in Panama City and Emerge Impact + Music in Las Vegas. At the same time, Hurd's also infused new energy into his creative process, largely by adopting a more beat-driven approach to songcraft. Bay Ledges is working on new music for a Fall 2018 release.
