2016 was very much a breakthrough year for Portland native Alexandra Savior, following the release of her official debut single "Shades" last summer, which left Noisey "completely hooked" on the 21-year old singer/songwriter. With a string of releases under her belt as well as a handful of live dates supporting both Daughter and Hamilton Leithauser-Alexandra Savior is ready to take on 2017 with appearances planned later this month at SXSW Music Festival in Austin, Texas, stops at popular summer festivals Boston Calling (tickets) and Primavera Sound plus headlining shows in London (which sold out in one day), Paris and Berlin this April. Additional SXSW shows to be announced soon. For a full list of live dates and performances, please continue to check alexandrasavior.com/tour

With a string of gorgeous singles released last year, including "M.T.M.E." (watch the self-directed videoHERE), "Mystery Girl" and "Mirage" Alexandra Savior's forthcoming debut album, 'Belladonna Of Sadness' (due April 7th, via Columbia Records) is gearing up to be one of the most anticipated album releases of the year. Watch the nostalgia-drenched Irrum-directed video for "Mirage," HERE.

An artist in every sense of the word, not only does Ms. Savior write music and perform live; she also paints her own artwork and writes, directs and edits her own music videos. "Belladonna of Sadness" was co-written by Alexandra and British rock frontman Alex Turner (Arctic Monkeys/Last Shadow Puppets) and co-produced by James Ford (Haim/Florence and the Machine) and Alex Turner.

Alexandra's unique sound and style first caught the attention of several creative forces including T. Bone Burnett who placed her song, "Risk," in the most recent season of HBO's cult series, "True Detective." In addition to that track, Alexandra also co-wrote the most recent Last Shadow Puppets' single, "Miracle Aligner" along with the erstwhile Arctic Monkey, Alex Turner.

With nods from top-tier publications including The FADER, Pigeons & Planes, NME, The SundayTimes, Stereogum, PASTE Magazine, V Magazine and many more, plus live appearances confirmed across the U.S and Europe this spring and summer, Ms. Savior is certain to be on everyone's radar for 2017.
