After seventeen transformative years with AYS, Maestro Alexander Treger will be stepping down as the Music Director, and the 6pm Gala Concert will serve as his triumphant final performance with AYS. The program opens with Mozart's Sinfonia Concertante, featuring guest soloists Glenn Dicterow, 34-year veteran Concertmaster of the New York Philharmonic, and acclaimed violist Karen Dreyfus. The concert will conclude with Tchaikovsky's magnificent Symphony No. 6, chosen by Maestro Treger to commemorate this momentous occasion.
